How Flock of Quackers Began
October 4, 2026
I never planned to write Flock of Quackers. In fact, when someone first suggested that I could write a book about my ducklings, I laughed.
A few days later, the idea came up again. This time, it stayed.
The story of how that casual conversation became a book is also tied to how I learned to write again after my injury. I wrote about it in the introduction to Flock of Quackers.
